Removal of Banksy Mural: The Creative Foundation v Dreamland Leisure Limited [2015] EWHC 2556 (Ch)

Arnold J has handed down his judgment in The Creative Foundation v Dreamland Leisure Limited [2015] EWHC 2556 (Ch). The case concerned a section of wall bearing a mural painting known as ‘Art Buff’ attributed to the street artist known as Banksy. The mural was removed from a building by a tenant in compliance (or purported compliance) of its repairing obligations. The landlord sought delivery up of the section of wall.
