New Book on Break Clauses

Nicholas Trompeter and Mark Warwick are to co-author a new text book on break clauses in leases. There is currently no text book dealing exclusively with this important and complex area of the law. Recently, on 26 August 2010, the Telegraph reported that, of new leases signed in 2009/10, 29.4 per cent contained break clauses (compared to 28.2 per cent a year earlier). The book is due for publication with Sweet & Maxwell in about mid/late 2011.
