On Thursday 16th May at 10:45 A.M, Nicholas Trompeter KC will be speaking at the White Paper Commercial Property Leases 2024 Conference, located at the Caledonian Club in London.
Nick will be answering the question ‘How far can you push the court over a tenant’s cumulative conduct across the term of a lease when resisting renewals or imposing amendments?’, drawing on his extensive experience in the commercial property arena.

Speakers
Nick is a commercial practitioner who acts in a wide range of business disputes, both in litigation and arbitration. He is recommended as a Silk across Chambers & Partners, Chambers Global, the Legal 500 and Who’s Who Legal in three practice areas: (1) Commercial Chancery Litigation; (2) Real Estate / Property Litigation; and (3) Professional Negligence. Before taking Silk, Nick was awarded ‘Real Estate’ junior barrister of the year in both The Legal 500 Awards and the Chambers UK Bar Awards 2019 (the first time a barrister has won both awards in the same year). He is the co-author of Warwick & Trompeter, Break Clauses, (3rd Edition, Hart Publishing, 2022) and was previously on the Attorney-General’s C and B Panels of Counsel.
