Mr Stephen Furst Q.C. (sitting as a Judge of the High Court) has handed down his judgment in Car Giant Ltd v The Mayor and Burgesses of the London Borough of Hammersmith [2017] EWHC 197 (TCC). This was a claim for damages for terminal dilapidations. The decision provides a useful summary of the correct approach to calculating damages in such a case.
