Selous commenced his probationary tenancy in Chambers in October 2024, having previously practised at a specialist tax set. He graduated from the GDL with the second highest mark in the country, and graduated from the BPTC as the highest ranked Middle Temple student in the country. He subsequently completed the LLM at Cambridge, where he attained a first, graduating top of his year in Public Law.
During his legal studies, Selous was an international mooting champion. Following pupillage, he was appointed to the Government C Panel after just two years in practice.
Selous accepts instructions across all of chambers’ practice areas, including commercial, insolvency, private client and property law. He also accepts instructions in tax-related matters.
