Three cases included in Property Week’s Top Legal Cases of 2021

We are very pleased to see that three cases our members have been involved in this year have been included in Property Week’s Top Legal Cases of 2021. The cases have been chosen as being the most significant cases from another turbulent year of pandemic-related property litigation. Details of the cases included can be found below.

Criterion Buildings Ltd v McKinsey & Company Inc (UK) & Anor [2021] EWHC 216 (Ch) (11 February 2021)

In this case Nicholas Trompeter KC and Alice Hawker (instructed by Gurpreet Sanghera of Simkins LLP) acted for the successful Claimant.

Ralph v Ralph [2021] EWCA Civ 1106 (22 July 2021)

Clifford Darton KC and George Woodhead acted for the successful Appellant instructed by Nigel Cole and Marie Forbes of Verisona Law.

Stonecrest Marble Ltd v Shepherds Bush Housing Association Ltd [2021] EWHC 2621 (Ch) (23 September 2021)

Henry Webb acted for the successful landlord, instructed by Winckworth Sherwood LLP. Together with Henry, Gary Blaker KC has been instructed on the appeal which will be heard in the Court of Appeal in 2022.
