The Law Society has now published the new Code for Completion By Post which will apply from 1 May 2019

This was deemed necessary following the Court of Appeal decision in P&P Property Limited v. Owen White & Catlin LLP and Dreamvar (UK) Limited v. Mishcon de Reya (a firm) [2018] EWCA Civ 1082, in which Gary Blaker QC and Chris de Beneducci appeared for the successful appellants.
