Selborne Chambers is pleased to announce that Robert Brown has been appointed as a Judge of the First-tier Tribunal by the Senior President of Tribunals, and will be taking up his post on 03 July 2023.
Robert joined Selborne Chambers in 2018. He was appointed a Deputy District Judge in 2019 and recently acted in the Supreme Court cases of Aviva Investors Ground Rent GP Ltd v Williams [2023] UKSC 6 (with James Sandham) and Rakusen v Jepsen [2023] UKSC 9 (with Rosamund Baker).
The Senior President of Tribunals has assigned him to the Property Chamber, Land Registration. We wish him well in his judicial career.
