The Court of Appeal has handed down its judgment in Freifeld v West Kensington Court Ltd [2015] EWCA Civ 806. The case lends important guidance on the circumstances in and the terms on which the Court should grant relief from forfeiture of a lease, particularly where the tenant has been guilty of deliberate breaches of covenant.
