Old Street Homes Ltd & Donnellan v Chelsea Bridge Apartments & Ward (2018) ChD 12/4/18

On appeal from a decision by a Deputy Master, the court held that a Cost Judge has no power to determine liability for costs as between the parties. It was wrong in law for Masters (or Judges) to transfer such a question to the Costs Judge when making an order for detailed assessment. Alexander Goold appeared for the successful Appellants.
