Munch in Marylebone

Thank you to ‘Munch in Marylebone’ for the tasty food your provided at our Chambers Lunch this month!

Yesterday, our members and staff enjoyed the delicious catering that ‘Munch in Marylebone’ provided – a Social Enterprise providing employability skills and training opportunities in catering, within the largest women-only homelessness service in London. The food was freshly prepared by a professional chef alongside a team of women from the project. Some of the dishes were recipes shared by the women, from all over the world. All profits will be reinvested into providing further opportunities for their women and supporting the work of The Marylebone Project.

The Marylebone Project is a registered Social Landlord set up through a partnership between the Church army and the Portman House Trust. They provide 112 long and short-term beds to homeless women. Whatever their story they aim for the same ending; self-esteem, employment and independent living. They do this by providing shelter, emotional support, education opportunities, spiritual space, and events in a welcoming and secure environment.
