Morgan J has handed down his judgment in Crossco No.4 Unltd & Ors v Jolan Ltd & Ors [2011] EWHC 803 (Ch), following a trial lasting several weeks. There were two sets of proceedings before the Court, both concerning a large building on Piccadilly, in Manchester. The judgment considers wide-ranging aspects relating to rectification, estoppel and constructive trusts. Romie Tager QC and Justin Kitson appeared for the successful Defendants (in the first claim) and the successful Claimant (in the second claim).
