Fancourt J has handed down his judgment in Sackville Property Select II (GP) No.1 Ltd v Robertson Taylor Insurance Brokers Ltd [2018] EWHC 122 (Ch). The case concerned the validity of a tenant’s break notice, which was served by an equitable assignee of the term during the ‘registration gap.’ The Court found that the break notice was invalid.

Nicholas Trompeter (as junior to Mark Wonnacott Q.C.) appeared for the successful landlords.
