Establishment of Social Mobility Bursaries by the Chancery Bar Association and the ICCA

The Chancery Bar Association has announced the establishment of social mobility bursaries in partnership with the Inns of Court College of Advocacy, the ChBA endowing the bursaries with £100,000. Ian Clarke KC, vice-chair of the ChBA adds “this is an excellent initiative aimed at assisting those from underrepresented backgrounds to establish themselves at the independent bar and, hopefully, the Chancery Bar. It is a small step but one very much in the right direction.”

The full press release can be found here.

Further information on the application process and the details of the Bursary Scheme can be found on the ICCA website.
