We are delighted to kick off our Junior Breakfast 2026 series from 10th February 2026 to 14th July 2026. The first instalment of our series will be held by Christopher Burrows and Tom Frazer discussing “Track Allocation and Fixed Costs”.

Christopher Burrows

Chris joined Selborne Chambers in August 2020, since which time he has focused on developing his chancery practice. He primarily accepts instructions in Chambers’ core areas of property and private client work. He has a busy drafting and advisory practice and appears regularly in the County Court, as well as increasingly in the High Court and First Tier Tribunal.

A consummate team player, Chris is focused, responsive and has an eye for commercial and pragmatic solutions. He speaks Farsi, German and Russian and particularly welcomes instructions with an international flavour.

Before coming to the Bar, Chris spent 12 years as an officer in the British Army.

Tom Frazer
Call: 2017

Tom has developed a busy commercial chancery practice spanning the full breadth of Chambers’ practice areas since completing pupillage in October 2019. In particular, Tom’s practice focusses on:

  • Property, including both real property and landlord and tenant
  • Commercial
  • Company and Insolvency
  • Private client work, including trusts and probate

In addition to drafting and advisory services, Tom appears regularly in the High Court, County Courts and tribunals, both as sole and junior counsel. Tom accepts instructions in all of Chambers’ practice areas.
