Enforcement of Settlement Agreement by a Third Party: Tchenguiz v Grant Thornton UK LLP [2016] EWHC 865 (Comm)

Mr Justice Knowles CBE has handed down his judgment in Tchenguiz v Grant Thornton UK LPP [2016] EWHC 865 (Comm), part of the long-running dispute arising out of the investigation carried out by the Serious Fraud Office into the affairs of Mr Vincent Tchenguiz. The judgment considers the circumstances in which a third party is able to rely upon the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 entitles him to enforce the terms of a settlement agreement.
