Edwards-Stuart J has handed down his decision in United Marine Aggregate Ltd GM Welding & Engineering Ltd [2012] EWHC 779 (TCC), following an 8-day trial. The case concerned a fire at an aggregate processing plant, and involved complicated questions of fact and causation, as well as the proper construction of insurance warranties. Stuart Hornett successfully represented the first defendant.
