Cranston J has handed down his decision in National Westminster Bank Plc v Alfano [2012] EWHC 1020 (QB). In this case, the Bank sued the Alfanos pursuant to a number of personal guarantee agreements. The Alfanos contended that the guarantee agreements were conditional on a company granting a debenture over its assets. That defence failed. Stuart Hornett appeared for the successful Bank.
