Third Six Pupillage

Chambers often invites applications for a third six pupillage beginning in October, which it is generally intended will result in the offer of tenancy (as it did on each of the last 4 occasions Chambers offered third six pupillages).

Applicants should be able to demonstrate a good academic background, a commitment to, and experience in some or all of our core areas of practice and be able to take up the position in the relevant October, having completed their formal 12 months of pupillage, although it may be possible to be adjust the precise start date, if required.

The third six pupillage award in 2025 (payable by way of guaranteed receipts) was £42,500 (paid in 6 monthly instalments). Third six pupils can expect to be in Court 2/3 times per week on their own account. They will also undertake work for a range of members as part of the overall assessment of their suitability for tenancy.
