Mini-Pupillage

Undertaking a mini-pupillage is the best way to find out about the day-to-day life of a barrister in private practice. It is hoped that a mini-pupil at Selborne Chambers will have the opportunity to experience both Court and Chambers-based work, with a number of members.

Mini-pupillages last two days. They are not assessed. Mini-pupils will typically undertake a piece of written work (you will normally be given an advice to draft) and attend court with a member of chambers on one or two days. Your supervisor will talk to you about the process/ answer any questions you have. We will also try to arrange a lunch with other members of chambers in hall.
