Be diligent with divorcees

A recent Court of Appeal decision has underlined the risks that estate agents run if they give insufficient attention to their paperwork.  The biggest risk is that even if they have undoubtedly introduced the eventual purchaser of a property they gain no reward.  The case of Day Morris Associates v. Voyce (2003) EWCA Civ 189 (26th February 2003) and the issues arising therein serves as a warning of the pitfalls that can confront an agent who is less than diligent.
