Richard Clegg

Richard’s practice is centred on commercial and property litigation. His practice covers in particular disputes within the business environment, including commercial contract disputes, partnership disputes, company insolvency and bankruptcy. In the property sphere, Richard has a wealth of experience of landlord and tenant disputes, both commercial and residential, and of land related disputes including trusts, charges, boundaries, easements and restrictive covenants. In his advice to his clients, Richard always takes a pragmatic and commercial approach.

Richard is a former Judicial Assistant to the Court of Appeal, where he dealt in particular with commercial and property related appeals, and is a winner of the National Observer Mooting Competition.
